Come tour with Rich and Lindy, riding through tandem friendly country side.

Tours are created with tandem riding in mind, combining beautiful views, the best roads and routes, and interesting sights along the way. The tours include motel (no camping); detailed route cue sheets, maps, and baggage transfer.  Tours are limited to 9 couples on tandems.

Lake Champlain Tandem Tour

Saturday June 30th through Sunday July 8th Tandem through rich farm country, green pastures, and peaceful landscapes of apple orchards, cornfields, and grazing cows. Ride along the shores of sparkling Lake Champlain (the sixth largest natural lake in the U.S.) and take your bike on a ferry ride to historic Essex, New York.

Hike through the famous AuSable Chasm.

Our tour of Lake Champlain Islands takes full advantage of the lovely islands that are scattered haphazardly along its long and narrow length, and the unsurpassed views across the lake to the Green and Adirondack mountains. Connected by bridges and causeways to the rest of Vermont, these islands are blessed with a unique combination of exceptional rural scenery, big prosperous farms, cows and sheep grazing in green fields, the best apple and fruit orchards in New England, and historic structures built by Vermont's earliest settlers.

You get to enjoy all this while cycling along quiet lakeshore roads that wander along the water's edge!

Take in the spectacular views of the 1000 Islands aboard a cruise, seeing romantic castles, villas, and awesome landscape. Discover the British and American history that awaits you around every corner. Delight in the Canadian hospitality and the American resort ambiance. Taste the great foods of two countries. Explore historic villages and wonderful coastal by-ways.

Chautauqua Tandem Tour

Saturday August 4th through Sunday August 12th Traverse the majestic shoreline of mighty Lake Erie and thread through America’s second largest grape growing region. Circling Chautauqua Lake is a favorite route for many local and visiting cyclists. Panama Rocks loop takes the rider past some heavily forested areas as well as the area’s largest recreation attraction, Peek’n Peak Resort.

This tour starts and ends on the shore of Lake Erie. You get to tandem along the coastline, taking in the beauty of the lake and the wineries that are nearby. The roads are quiet, so imbibing at the winery can't be too bad.

Heading inland we climb up the gentle escarpment to the hills of western NY. Chautauqua Institute and Lake Chautauqua are the highlights of the middle of the tour. Not to mention, a visit to the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center Next we're off to the Peek'n Peak Golf and Ski resort for some relaxation and riding. While here, you can cycle to the Panama Rocks Park, 12 Acres of an Erupted Paleozoic Seashore.

On the way back down to the lakeshore don't miss the Luensman Overlook Park, with its 70-acre overlook on a glacial ridge. Enjoy the view of Lake Erie, and on a clear day you can see the Canadian shore!
