Hi Everyone,

What a great night to ride last night.  We had an excellent turn out of riders with 58 members and 2 guests for a total of 60.  In the last 9 years, that’s an all time record.  All it takes is really nice weather!  These 60 riders covered a total of 1108 miles.

Tom Hotaling led a group on his hilly challenge of option #1 for 22 miles while Mike Lyon set a course that covered 22 miles also at a more leisurely pace.  Mark Perrin of The Bikery along with Dean Connery, Roland Pearson and Al Storrings took out a large group of easy highway riders that split into a 10 and a 13 loop before returning.  I led an easy canal ride of 10 miles that was predominantly canal path with a small group of riders.  No one reported any mechanicals or injuries…a good night.  There were treats for those who stayed.

If you did not come out last night, you missed a great evening of riding.  Make and effort to do it next week and see if we can set a new record number of riders.
