Happy spring, all! I hope you have all been able to do some outdoor riding in between raindrops. Here's some news updates:
Skills Clinics: Jeff Chin has graciously offered to provide a skills clinic before the Thursday slow and easy rides throughout the month of June. He will cover different skills that all riders can benefit from. Please show up to the ride at 5:30 for the clinic, then join the normal rides at 6:00pm. We may offer additional clinics throughout the summer; I will post announcements.
Tour de Cure training rides: This year, we will be welcoming the Syracuse Bicycle Tour de Cure training team at our Tuesday slow and easy rides, starting June 11th. Members of their team will join our different-paced groups at our Tuesday rides throughout June and July, leading up to the Tour de Cure event on Sunday, July 21st. Please welcome them and encourage their training!
Saturday no-drop rides: On occasion throughout the spring/summer, we may offer a no-drop riding group at our Saturday rides. We know many of our Tuesday and Thursday riders have requested this. If you are planning on riding on a Saturday ride and could volunteer to lead a no-drop group, please let me know and I can announce it to the club. Thank you!
See ya on the road,
Colleen Farrell
