Yes indeed, there is a ride report to post!!
3 hardy souls rode about 100 miles. Zero Rain! About 75% dry roads. Some gravel making for 1 flat (me). The rollers provided excellent climbing without any killer pitches. Beautiful country.
Zeke & Eric: I think you had better leave the weather forecasting to OCC Meteorologist Goetke. 😉
Suggestion: Let's re-route this ride and revise the map to eliminate Route 370. The traffic is very fast so few want to ride it given safety concerns... Eric pointed out an excellent route to the north of 370 along Dalton, Dennison, Southard, Swamp and Plainville--but it is a little tricky given the zig zags so a ride map would really help. These are all back roads and great riding. We tried this alternate route last night, but somehow missed the last cross road from Southard to Swamp Road and ended up getting stuck riding 370 from Southard to E. Mud Mill. The shoulder was great, but the traffic moves at 55+ over much of it.
