Thirteen members came out to Friday’s ride at Lysander Town Park to do the Apple Country Metric.  It turned out to be a good day - no rain with clouds which was okay.  Mary posted that we didn’t see any apples, but they probably were on the long ride which no one opted to do.  Everyone did the 45 mile route (even one determined rider who had carpal tunnel surgery earlier that week) on some nice shaded country roads with lots of cornfields.  We were even rewarded with a nice view on top of Weller road.  Next time we have a ride starting in Lysander, we can cool off in their spray park; they had a Grand Opening that day.
