Pleasant Valley Preserve

Anyone who has ridden their bikes along Pleasant Valley Rd has probably enjoyed the peaceful countryside of the area around the Maple Syrup shop and the Christmas Tree plantation.  A group of people who wanted to save this spectacular countryside banded together to purchase the property when it was for sale and are turning it into a Nature Preserve.  Instead of a big housing development of new homes there is still beautiful countryside and trails…but the group has a limited time to complete the purchase.

We need everyone’s financial help to close the deal.  Every dollar donated to the Pleasant Valley Preserve will be matched by some very generous donors who wish to remain anonymous.  So, when you go out for your first rides of the season, ride out Pleasant Valley Rd to see the preserve and take a break.  Maybe walk the site and see what is there.
