Did you know you can have weather radar on compatible Garmins?

Wednesday I went out for a ride. It looked like rain but localsyr's radar was clear. But partway through the ride it got darker and I felt a few drops so I checked the radar on my Edge 830 and saw this:

I was headed straight for it so I turned left earlier than planned and stayed dry.
It is called Weather Radar Widget by sabeard - it cost $3 for a year. You can select from two radar sources. This one is RainViewer.

I also have Accuweather's MinuteCast and "Rain & Wind". Rain & Wind is a data field and it shows wind relative to the direction you heading and other weather info too. It has a small fee too.

There are lots of other IQ widgets and data fields that you may like. Check them out from the Connect app or https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/.
