This is a Rain or Shine Event When? Saturday, August 28th 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (free parking in Park before 9:00 AM). Where? Starting and ending in Fillmore Glen State Park, 1686 NYS Route 38, Moravia, NY at the Park’s Upper Shelter Pavilion (GPS 42.700130 -76.420166) What? Great biking, hiking and swimming with friends and family, lots of food, entertainment, raffles, prizes and more! Why? Because it's just pure fun and because we can now hold, a one day event !! How much? Just $30 to help keep the STBC moving toward a full blown Great Finger Lakes Bike Tour in 2022. FYI --- Since we are limiting the day's registration to 100 participants, NYS regulations for gatherings do not require proof of vaccination, nor a negative test. If such requirements change, participants will be notified via updates on the event. Its hiking trails offer spectacular views, unique geological formations, including five waterfalls, and a botanically rich glen. The park has 60 campsites, a stream-fed swimming pool and fishing in the Owasco Lake inlet. In the winter, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are permitted on unplowed roads. For those who prefer the luxuries of home, the park offers a full service cottage located on the shore of Cayuga Lake at Long Point. Cottage amenities include a kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, sink, full bath, hot water; electricity, bedroom with double bed and dressers, main room with a sleeper sofa, furniture, dining table with chairs, a wood stove, boat dock, picnic table, fire ring and grill and a small lawn area.
