Hope you all had a rejuvenating Labor Day weekend !
PLEASE NOTE: The start time has been moved up to 6:00 pm
Sunset is now around 7:30pm and unfortunately rapidly eroding by about 2 minutes per day.
The conditions may be unique tomorrow. The breeze is supposed to be out of the due East or Northeast at around 9mph. This means a rare tailwind for the first 3 miles or so.
Start time conditions:
Temperature: 68 degrees
Breeze: 9mph E or ENE
Humidity: High
Exciting Vuela a Espana ! Another young phenom has emerged in the form of Remco Evenepoel - 22 year old and currently leading the Vuelta. If he holds on to win the Vuela, you have to think he will be entered into the Tour de France as a GC competitor for QuickStep. Unbelievable talent could be competing next year!
Pogacar (23?), Evenpoel (22), Vingegaard (25), Tom Pidcock (22), and Wout Van Aert (27) in the mix. Not to forget Roglic is always contesting. I'm sure I'm missing others. I'm already looking forward to it.
