The CNY Bicycle Giveaway Foundation will be holding its annual Bike Giveaway on December 17, 2022. Volunteers are currently needed through December 15th to clean and repair all types of used bikes that have been donated. Please consider giving a few hours of your time to this worthwhile effort. Even if you have little or no mechanical skills, help is needed to replace tires and tubes or just clean up a slightly worn but still functioning bike. The work is going on daily in the Dairy Building at the NYS Fair Grounds (Gate 2 on State Fair Blvd.) between 10am and 6pm (Saturday and Sunday included). Work stations, tools and all other materials are provided. Come on out, even if you can only spare a few hours, to this great cause that helps to raise the benefits and awareness of bicycling in the central New York area. Bike donations will also be accepted through the 15th at the State Fair site and donations of cash are also appreciated.
