Dare I say it, Tuesday night had that hint of Fall in the air. The temps hovered at the 70 degree mark and the NW wind was a little stronger than usual at around 8-9mph.
We had 6 TTers roll up to the start line. Two newbies decided to give it go as guests for the day! Welcome Kevin and Jocelyn ! The Fastest Men's Time (FMT) was set by Kevin in a time of 24:34(24.42mph). He would have been faster had he not cruised by the turn on to Moore Rd. I'm seen a sub-24 in his future. Not far behind was Ron who burned through the course in 24:48 (24.20mph). Our FWT was set by our guest Jocelyn who ripped through the course in a time 28:07(21.34mph). Both, Ken and Jeff, rode strong efforts and were only around 30 seconds off of their PRs.
Given the cooler temps, low humidity and an unrelenting NW breeze I'd venture a guess that the course was at least 20 seconds slower than "normal". Great efforts by all !
