This Saturday’s club ride is Mike’s Picnic and Ride with several options starting and ending at his house. Link: 

All but the 10 mile ride are rather hilly. Ten miles is short for a weekend ride in my opinion. Last year I stumbled into riding to it from Camillus, then doing the 10-miler and found it to be rather enjoyable (except for the part where my water bottle fell out and I ran over it and fell - but there was barely a wound). 

I’m going to do the same this year, leaving out of Elm Hill Plaza at the corner of Hinsdale and Milton. That’s the one with Azteca Restaurant. It’s about 11 miles to Mike’s house from there. I’ll also ride back after a swim and lunch. It’s an easy ride over mostly familiar terrain: Newport, Canal, Bennett’s Corners, Warners…with the fun addition of Milton - the non-busy part.

A photo of the route is attached. Anyone who want to join me is welcome. I plan to roll at 7:50. I plan to ride a 12 - 13 mph pace with no stops other than those legally required.
