I feel like I posted this previously, but I’m not seeing it, so apologies if it’s a rehash. Thirteen riders started out on Sunday, August 27, including one brand new to the club. One turned around at three miles due to leg pain and one pulled up at 12 miles with a flat. After an unsuccessful attempt to change the tube, he called AAA and was home before the rest of us! Other distances ranged from 28 to 42 miles, with the majority riding 32 for a total of 397.I’m happy to report that I raised $694 for The Skin Cancer Foundation, surpassing my goal by $54! Thank you to everyone who rode some or both of my two 32 mile rides over the weekend and/or contributed to my fundraiser. My heart is full.
