Tuesday night the TTers were greeted with cool, dry weather with a whisper of a breeze from the NW. While there was some mist falling on my way to the course, the deflector shields worked like a charm, leaving the TT course bone dry.
Two TTers took advantage of the cool air and rolled to the line. One is a new member, Welcome John!
As usual, Ken rode from home to take up the challenge. He took home the highly coveted FMT prize with a strong time of 26:33 (22.60mph). While his power was up, the cool air was not forgiving and slowed him down a bit. New member John Rice predicted to ride around 35 minutes. He destroyed that prediction with a time of 29:16 (20.50mph). Way to go John!
This coming Tuesday may be the hottest day of the year. Hot air is Fast Air. Throw some ice in the water bottle and come out to scorch the course!
