While there was a threat of thunderstorms,  the TTers only had to deal with light showers for the final 10 minutes of their ride. 

Two TTers rolled to the line for their Race of Truth.   Conditions were rather nice -  82 degrees with very light winds.    Ken Toscano took the FMT honors with what turned out to be a recovery ride for him.  The long weekend rides had taken its toll and he stated he couldn't push his HR beyond the 140s.  I hope I didn't break HIPPA rules with that reveal.  Ken's time was 28:06 (21.35mph).    Rich O'Neil put in a solid time and followed the TT with a strong 5k run!

Thanks to Rob and Rich stopping by the course over the weekend to supplement my cleanup of the loose stone on the north end of Black Creek.   I  hit it again on Tuesday and its now fairly clean in the turn off from Smith  Ridge.  I'd say the course is riding about the same as before.... the faster surface on Chestnut RIdge is offset by the slower surface on Black Creek.
