Cooler temperatures - high 60s -  and our typical 6mph NW breeze made for a decent night for the TTers. Especially for those that prefer cooler temps. 

Five TTers rolled to the start line of Race of Truth.  Tiago as usual eviscerated the course with the FMT of 22:45(26.37mph).  It will be his last TT of the year.  Great Year Tiago!    Mike H rode his TT bike w a disk to an impressive time of 25:42(23.35mph).    Paul V decided to come out to play for the first time since 2019 and smashed his PR by 2:44 !   Hard work pays off!

The  Good Neighbor Award goes to the couple in a pickup truck that stopped by to see if I was okay at the finish line.  I explained why I was parked at the finish and thanked them for inquiring.   As TTers were finishing it became apparent that Sean K had a mechanical.   Just as we were all figuring out who could pick up Sean, the pickup truck rolls up with Sean sprawled in the back seat and his bike in the bed of the truck.  So, there actually are nice people that drive pickup trucks 

Vuelta a Espana continues to heat up. There is a huge battle for the podium.  I just finished watching today's stage.  Another battle on a steep finishing climb.  I won't spoil it.  It's worth a watch.  Tomorrow is the Queens stage.  Whoa!  Climb after climb after climb.  Amazing.    Then the finishing TT on Sunday.    Exciting stuff!
