The heat may have swayed some to stay home or ride easy instead of coming to the TT.   Only two had the desire to do so.

Ken fresh off another 100+mile weekend couldn't push his heart to it's usual levels and had to settle for a mere mortal FMT of 27:21 (21.94mph).  Rich had a solid TT and only missed his best 2025 by 24 seconds.

I won't be running the Time Trial next week - Aug 5th. If you want to self time, send me your times and I'll report them.

23 year old Maeva Squiban has put on quite a show in the hilly stages 6 and 7.  In stage 6 she disposed of her breakaway mates with 20 miles to go and stayed over a minute ahead of the charging peloton.In stage 7, she dropped her breakaway mate at the 12 mile mark and again won by about a minute. A stunning achievement!    

Today's (Saturday) stage 8 has a finishing climb up the Col de Madeleine.  I'm only half way through and wondering if Squiban will make a superhuman move again.
