Congratulations to the TTers!
Brian, I've watched every stage of the Vuelta, but I have not seen any people I could identify as "Hamas friendlies." What I have seen is people with Palestinian flags and signs/banners opposing genocide. There's a difference.

What a great night for the Time Trial !What little breeze there was (<5mph)came from the favorable SE direction. Frankly,I'm not sure if it was a factor at all. I did manage to keep flag waving Hamas friendlies off the course - unlike the operators of the Vuelta a Espana.
We had eight TTers roll to the line and that didn't even include Ken T.
Chris L took the FMT honors by blazing through the course with a time of 24:02(24.96mph). Mo Howard was not far behind. He scorched a PR time of 24:41(24.31mph).John R tapped into his power and conquered the course with a break through PR of 25:10(23.85mph). He reduced his PR by 55 seconds! Sam M came back for his second attempt at the course and managed to lower his PR by 1 second - 25.23(23.64mph).Jade B took FWT honors by slicing through the course in another PR time of 28:39(20.94mph).She took 32 seconds off of her previous PR ! Sean K ripped his fastest 2025 time.
A welcome back to Mark P who has had to overcome a lot of adversity to get back to the TT course for the first time in 3 years. It was good to see him make it out.
So,in summary, four out of eight hit their PRs and one had a best 2025 time. A pretty darn good night !
til next week!
