On this cloudy day I went to Jamesville Elementary Shool for the ride

At 9.45 I was the only one there except for a JD Senior bottle collection setup.

 

Then one and a two and then five people drove in.

 

Three did the 27 miles.  They didn't go up the Clark Hollow hill but went Apulia to 80 and then did the downhill on Clark Hollow.  Then some went to the Kings lineup on Erie Blvd in Dewitt to join some other members already there.

 

The other three opted for the longer 51/53 route.  One split off onto Newell Hill and I didn't see him back at the school till 20 minutes after I returned.  The other rider went ahead of me on the last Apulia section ( came back from a cross country trip so he had more endurance and quickness).

 

I did see the last 53 miler (new to biking) from my car as returned in Jamesville.

I should have waited another two minutes.  

 

I have not waited at the end in a long time as ride leader so I waited 20 minutes before leaving.  I should have left him some cookies, but just left a note to text me on return.

 

Note that ride leader don't need to wait for all to return.  So sign up to lead.

We are having a leader signup sheet at the next general meeting which will be in January 2026 with more on this coming (Home Town Pub in Liverpool)
