We had almost perfect conditions for the TT Tuesday night. The temperature was sultry 82-85 degrees around the TT course. The breeze had died off to a light puff out of the SW.
Five brave TTers rolled to the start line. Hop crushed the course in a PR time of 24:30(24.48mph). He did so without sporting the shoe cover/ribbed sock combo from last week. Everyone that rode the course last week reduced their time this week. Sean did so by 11 seconds and Dick dropped his by 42 seconds. That's what we like to see! SamS decided it was time to blow the dust off of his TT rig and come out to play. He hadn't participated in five years. It was good to see a past regular TTer and TT director make it out. Both he and John R had strong 2026 inaugural rides! Rich O came out unofficially to the course to rehab his knee before we kicked off. Hopefully he'll be ready to roll in the near future.
We've had a good stretch of Tuesday evening weather. Let's hope it continues.
See ya at the start!
