Tuesday night was as pleasant a night as forecasted, But, the pleasant breeze from the NW was going to provide a bit a challenge for the first 3 miles for out TTers. These guys were up for the challenge.
Eight TTer rolled to the line. We had one new TTer - welcome Ethan! Mo Howard catapulted through the course with the FMT of 24:51 (24.14mph). That was 17 seconds faster than the previous week and only 19 seconds off of his PR set late last year. Dr Dan smoked the course in a time of 25:08(23.88mph). The last time I found in the archives for him was in 2017! He was only 36 seconds off of that time. Watch out Senior Games! Mark Person lowered his time from the previous week by 19 seconds. Sean K lowered his by 8 seconds. Todd S nailed a PR by dropping his time 1:28 on his 2nd run through the course.
Next week is supposed to be steamy. Steamy air is faster air. I'm expecting the temps to be around 85 degrees. Assuming the power output is the same, the TTers will be about 10-12 seconds faster than this past week. We shall see.
See ya at the start!
