Hi, your friendly usually recreational ride leader here to say I’m leading Sundays Tour de Little France ride (June 28). Must be some race over in the country of France coming up or something.
Link to the ride below. Starts out of the lighthouse across the river from the bridge construction so be sure to allocate travel time for dealing with that.
The official rides are 30, 45, 62, and 100. If you want to ride shorter, I can point out a turn that will take about seven miles off, so about 23 miles. Basically you just stay on Co. Route 32 until you get to Co. Route 37.
My printer is out of ink so if you want a paper map, please bring one with you. The routes are in Ride With GPS.
The ride start time is 9 a.m. but if you’re riding the century and want to start at 8:00, let me know and I’ll put you down on the sign in form. You can text me at the number on the calendar.
THIS IS VERY RURAL RIDING that requires self-sufficiency, although the 62 and century do go through a town where you can buy a Gatorade or a snickers bar and use a restroom. Well, the world is a restroom for the guys, but ladies I’m thinking of you. It’ll be warm, so hydrate Saturday and bring plenty of fluids on Sunday.
I’m planning on the 45-miler. Not quite ready for a metric century but working up to 80 for my Pan-Mass fundraising ride. Happy for any company as long as it’s available.
