We were blessed with decent weather for the official final Time Trial of the year. The temperature was 70 degrees and the south wind faded to under 5mph. Really good conditions!
Five TTers rolled up to the start line. NIgel blasted through the course with a PR FMT of 26:09(22.94mph). He has done the TT four time this year and every time he has posted a PR ! Chris was not to be out done. He sliced through the course in a PR time of 26:46(22.42mph). That effort lowered his PR by 25 seconds. Brigitte claimed the FWT with blistering time of 28:21(21.17mph) - lowering her PR by 5 seconds. Good to see PRs at the end of the season.
As I've mentioned last week, Rich, Jade, Brigitte and Chris are traveling to Spain for the World Triathlon Championships. All will be competing in the Sprint distance this Thursday 9/24 and Jade will also be crushing the Standard distance on Sat 9/26. Go to the event site
https://triathlon.org/events/2026-wtcf-pontevedre, if you want to check out their progress with the live tracking. Go USA!
I may extend the season if we get the right combo of good weather and TTer desire. Regardless, it's been a another great year !!
