We had a perfect night for a time trial.  Temps hovered around 83 degrees with a very slight 4mph NE breeze.  Unfortunately only two were able to make it out to the TT course after the long Memorial Day weekend.A big welcome to our TT newby Bonnie who traveled from Minnesota to ride the fastest TT course East of the Mississippi. I am asking the club to consider adding rides to the weekend calendar that are geared to a more intermediate rider.  I have been a member for a few years and my comfort level is in the 20 to 35 mile distance with moderate to medium elevation.   I am not asking to be lead and I know I might be riding by myself.  That is ok.  Just include a map or cue sheet.  If you consider the amount of intermediate riders that participate on Tuesday and Thursday, I would think there would be interest for ...Continue Reading

Was a nice night.  I was a little surprised that the attendance wasn’t high, since it was a nice day. Guess some were still away for Memorial Day and for others it might have been too hot. We had 22 riders doing 3 or more routes for a total of 464 miles.  Got a report of some still not riding safely.  Seems some just refuse. I would like someone to pick a route for next week.  If no one does, I will pick a route that I like.   ...Continue Reading
