Well, I sacrificed some sleep to get caught up on the Vuelta last night. Tuesday's stage proved to be significant! Vingegaard the Vindicator did it again! He blasted up the final climb to take a minute back from his "teammate" American Sepp Kuss. Kuss implied at the beginning of the stage that it was set up perfectly for Roglic. But, it was Vinge that took off. Kuss finished a few seconds behind Roglic and didn't seem to have the kick that he ...Continue Reading

Tonight was the last scheduled Time Trial for the season and Mother Nature decided to be kind and grant us summer conditions. The temperature was around 75 degrees and the breeze was almost non-existent. Three contestants showed up to squeeze in another time trial. Phil rode his newly built-up rig, a Specialized Tarmac SL7, and managed to equal his PR from over 3 years ago. He blasted through the course in 27:03 (22.19mph). Our sky cam documented an interesting battle between Dick and ...Continue Reading

Despite the dismal forecast 8 members showed up for the ride. Three members neglected to read the fine print that weekend rides are now starting at 10:00 AM showing up at 9:00 AM and thus had an hour to wait. A brief shower passed through the Cortland area 15 minutes before the start leaving the roads wet for the first part of the ride but Mother Nature held off with the rain until later in the day. 1 rider did the 66 mile route3 riders did the 45 mile route4 riders did a hybrid of the two routes for 55 miles ...Continue Reading
