From: mailto: The Thruway bridge on Bennett’s corners Road will be closed on the 13th. I see that the longer group goes that way next Tuesday, so I would suggest a change in route. I don’t know how long this will be closed, but I know the Rescue Mission is looking into it since the 20 mile and the 40 mile ride go that way. ...Continue Reading

Well, well, well... Mother Nature again was very kind. She provided us with a 9 mph breeze from the coveted SE direction. Oh, and the temperature was a comfy 78 degrees.Nine TTers rolled to the start line including one guest. The results were the meshing of strong engines and good conditions. We had two PRs and almost everyone had at a minimum their best 2026 time. Tiago scorched the course with his 4th best time ever. Needless to say he earned the FMT with a t ...Continue Reading

From: mailto: I’ll be leading this Friday’s ride, departing from the Long Branch parking lot promptly at 10am. There are two routes -25 and 32 miles - wandering around the northwest corner of Onondaga county. Please bring your own map or download the routes to your device from the OCC web site. A word about the weather - three different weather apps basically can’t decide whether or not it’s going to rain on Friday morning during our ride (at least as of 9pm on 7/8). I’ll be there, rain or shine or whatever. Dave ...Continue Reading

On Aug. 1st and 2nd, I’m cycling 160 miles from Wellesley, MA to Provincetown on the Cape as part of the Pan-Mass Challenge to raise money for cutting-edge cancer research and patient care at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I'm riding in honor of my sister who has been receiving life-extending treatment for pancreatic cancer at Dana-Farber for ten years now. I'm also riding as a melanoma survivor. And I’m riding for and with you and your loved ones. We have all been affected by cancer, either personally or ...Continue Reading

We had a total of eleven participants who joined us for the outing. Including two guests. The group split into two to accommodate varying paces. (Thanks Zeke) One rider experienced a tubeless tire issue, which only cut their ride a bit short. The conditions were a bit muddy, which added an extra layer of challenge and enjoyment for most. It was a great day on the trails. I look forward to our next ride together.Doug ...Continue Reading
