What great weather for the event!! We had 55 registered. There were fewer doing the 100-mile ride than in the past. While there were more doing the 62, the most popular route was the 37. Once again Roland did a fantastic job providing a post ride meal. Thanks Roland!!I had a question about a separate link to donate to the Syracuse Veteran’s Residential Program. It’s the same one used for registration: Annual Charity Ride – Onondaga Cycling Club. Just pick donate. This will ...Continue Reading

We had 18 riders show up for the last Tuesday ride. Due to the earlier sunset time rides were a bit shorter. They rode between 13 and 21 miles for a total of 350 miles. Thanks to Mike Schiavone and Brian Bell for leading the faster group and a special thanks to Karen Kelly for leading the somewhat slower group. When I got to the park the temperature was 71 but during the ride it dropped to 57. It didn’t go unnoticed. I was not dressed for 57 and finally warmed up when I showered. See y ...Continue Reading

Fall is definitely in the air. The temperature at start time (5:45pm ish) was 66 degrees. The full sun kept it comfortable. The breeze appeared to be about 5mph out of the NW. Cool weather is a double edged sword - the cool air is denser and therefore offers more resistance, but, on the other hand, one is less likely to overheat.Four TTers showed up to take advantage of the reasonably good conditions. Mike H sliced and diced the course in a FMT time of 25:11 (23.82mph).&nb ...Continue Reading
