From: mailto: The weather was perfect as was the food. We had 60 riders participating. Half of them opted for either the 100 or 60 mile routes. Heard nothing but positive feedback about the routes and what was available at the rest stops. Thanks to Rudy’s for always allowing us to use their facilities. Also to the volunteers Nancy at Rudy’s and Steve at Phoenix who were from Parks and Trails New York. Roland did his usual chef magic. I think next year we limit it only having seconds not thirds. We nearly ran ...Continue Reading

Congratulations to the TTers! Brian, I've watched every stage of the Vuelta, but I have not seen any people I could identify as "Hamas friendlies." What I have seen is people with Palestinian flags and signs/banners opposing genocide. There's a difference. From: mailto: Wow last night was the last formal Tuesday night ride of the season. We had 22 riders. All but 3 did the 21 mile ride. This was due to the closure of Pottery Road. The others did a 14 mile loop. After the ride everyone was treated to 2 types of zucchini bread, molasses cookies, as well as types of cookies. Very little was left, zero zucchini bread. I think my statement that eat them now or they’ll be back next year may have contributed to the cookie consumption. Many thanks to Nancy the famous baker ...Continue Reading

What a great night for the Time Trial ! What little breeze there was (<5mph) came from the favorable SE direction. Frankly, I'm not sure if it was a factor at all. I did manage to keep flag waving Hamas friendlies off the course - unlike the operators of the Vuelta a Espana. We had eight TTers roll to the line and that didn't even include Ken T.Chris L took the FMT honors by blazing through the course with a time of 24:02 (24.96mph). Mo Howard was not far behind. He scorched a PR ti ...Continue Reading

We’ve heard a few questions floating around, so let’s clear the air:The beneficiary of this year’s Fall Charity Ride is not a state department. Instead, your registration fees and donations support an independent, not-for-profit organization that champions parks, trails, and outdoor access across New York State. This group works year-round to protect green spaces, expand trail networks, and advocate for the kind of outdoor adventures we all love. So when you ride, you’re not just pushing pedals—you’re helping build a bet ...Continue Reading
