The leader rode the long course which had a slight detour on the Marathon-McGraw Road adding about .4 miles. Nice course although Route 281 thru Cortland is a bit busy. All 8 riders completed 41 miles. The roads were damp in places but no rain. One major mishap with a blown-out side wall. When the same rider then had to stop due to a dropped chain he was warned that there would be no sympathy for a third event. We agreed to bypass Amboy Center and continue on Turk Rd. To 17A and suggest the map master change the route for future rides. This is a great ride and thanks to all participants for adhering to the spirit of “Friendly Fridays”.
