Hi, I’m ride leader for this Sunday’s Oneida Lake - Cicero Swamp ride. I just wanted to get an early note out that the 35-mile ride will be no-drop. So if you normally avoid the weekend rides because you find yourself all alone at the back, please join me! We had 4 riders showed up (present company included) this soggy, sticky, steamy morning.   Our saving grace was that sun hid most of the time behind the clouds.  I volunteered to sweep the course in case any of the lead three had problems   Luckily all three made it back safely without any mechanicals or physical failure.  The roads on the route were all good with only a couple of miles of wet roads from an early morning rogue shower.  Creek Road into Lenox provided a nice re ...Continue Reading
