The conditions Tuesday were pretty much as predicted.  74 degrees and a bit blustery - 13 mph NW Our 5 combatants were up for the challenge.  The fastest woman time (FWT) and overall time was clocked by the Amy Kneale who scorched the course in 24:38 (24.36mph). Hi!I am hosting the 2nd annual Connecticut Hill Rando Rally gravel race this year in Newfield, NY on Sunday, Sept 18th. Last year was a blast and this year we are starting/finishing at Stone Bend Farm (wood fired pizza and beer). Race is about 40 miles and about 5500’ elevation on some amazing seasonal roads in Connecticut Hill state forest. I’d love help promoting this race, and a friend suggested I reach out to the regional bike clubs to see if they would be willing to send out info about the race. What a great night for a ride. We had 30 members show up and ride 652 miles. To my surprise, when I got back nearly everyone had left. Then the light bulb when I realized I forgot to put out the after ride cookies. Sorry ☹. Hope you will still come back next week.Once again, if anyone has route they would like to ride next week, let me know.
