From: mailto: Five us rode out of Austin Park in Skaneateles on a beautiful, warm day all over Cayuga Co. It’s an awesome ride for those who have not ridden the Cedar House Scramble. Nary a drop of rain as forecasted touched us! We all stayed together as is the tradition for the Friday AM rides! ...Continue Reading

From: mailto: 5 riders did a lot of climbing on today’s Clark Hollow-Truxton ride out of Jamesville. There were rain clouds nearby, but we lucked out and did not get caught in the rain. One rider did 22 miles, the rest 51-54 miles. Chocolate chip cookies after the ride. -Colleen ...Continue Reading

Hi all, this Monday evening, the 15th at 6pm, we will be riding at Hopper Glen. If you look on the OCC calendar, you will notice there is no ride scheduled. We haven't put this ride on our ride list yet as this is a brand new ride but there IS a ride! The ride will start in the Valley Cemetery on Valley Rd on the south side of the city. Here is a pin drop so you can paste it into Google maps and it will take you right to the parking lot which is in the back of the Cemetery. 42.990755,-76.156728For those ...Continue Reading

We had 21 members and 1 guest for the ride. No mechanical issues that I know of, but there was a failure to follow the cue sheet. I believe it was caused by the “need” to keep up with the faster riders rather than paying attention to the cue sheet or GPS. More than half the riders on my route missed a turn. However, they did have to work a bit harder climbing up Canton Street to get back on course. There were frozen treats back at the park.See you next week. I will be working the polls ...Continue Reading

I’ve done it again! Signed up to be Saturday’s (June 13) ride leader for the Lake Neatahwana Rides starting out of Lysander Town Park. (Last time I led this ride we rode through gale force winds - looks breezy but not bad so far for Saturday 🤞🏽.) These are the routes we didn’t get to ride on the Spring Fling washout! Various ride lengths from 15 to 52 miles. I’ll be opting for the 33-miler and it will probably end up as a no-drop due to my lack of speed. Anyone riding 15 or 22 can stay in groups for a no-drop on your ri ...Continue Reading
