The conditions Tuesday night turned out pretty much as predicted.   Temperature was 71 degrees and the light breeze appeared to be from the S-SE. East Lake Rd in Caz has fresh stone from just north of the high school to Peth Rd. Rideable but too much stone on the shoulders. North Lake also has fresh stone. Peth is fine. Also, Dyke Rd coming south out of Chittenango is now nicely paved to Olmstead near where it joins 13, but the bridge at 13 is closed. Wow!  Gorgeous sunny day!       It is setting up to be a 9/10 speed rating on the TT course today.  Temps will be 74 degrees at the start but more importantly the 7 mph breeze is out of the South and possibly shifting to the SE.    It is supposed to be SE by 7pm.   If that turn in direction happens  at 6:15 - 6:30, out TTers will get a tailwind for 5 miles and then a crosswind for 1.5 miles followed by a quartering headwind for the next 1.5 miles.  It is rare f ...Continue Reading
