The conditions Tuesday night were decent -  temperature around 75 degrees and the wind died down to about 6mph NW.  Wind from this direction means some headwinds  in the open spaces of the first 3 miles and a little assist on miles 5 through 8.   I'd estimate the course speed rating was an 8.4/10.   Not quite as fast as last week.  The only downside was the swarming mosquitos at the finish line.  The worst of the season.Eight TTers lined up to put forth their best effort in t ...Continue Reading

Eleven riders came out to ride on an extremely humid morning. A kink in our morning was that route 80 had been waffled for paving. My group decided to do an adventure ride; we made up our route on the fly. It worked out pretty well. The 4 of us did 38 miles w/ a bit of climbing, 2 cyclist rode the 27 miles and 5 cyclist rode the 50 mile route. Everyone made it back save.
