Sunny, good temperatures, nice wind in one direction Hills with people having different altitudes but for the 60 miles was 3000+    We had 10 riders with 2 coming late   7 did the 60 miles 3 did the 28+   No mechanical issues but one rider had a likely chain issue which was looked at by our on ride mechanic And one cell phone popped out of a case on a bumpy downhill.   As for the wind it was of good velocity on the return second half when it was hilly.   Oatmeal raisin cookies at the end. & ...Continue Reading

From: mailto: Four club members and one guest rode 33miles from Three Rivers Plaza in Phoenix on a beautiful Wednesday evening. All enjoyed the ride with perfect temps and little wind. No mishaps. Six club members joined me today (Friday) for a ride out of Central Square. A major ‘mishap’ early in the ride… we missed one of the first turns. The forecast was right on.....   a beautiful evening for the Race of Truth!   The temperature hovered around 80 degrees with a fading 8 mph WSW breeze.Two TTers rolled to the start line Tuesday evening.  Fastest Man Time (FMT) honors go to Mike Hopper.  He blistered the course in a time of 24:51 (24.14mph). From: mailto: We had great weather finally. There were 23 riders doing 16-25 miles. We even had a tandem in the mix. No reports of any problems. I was surprised when we got back that the lemon zucchini bread was nearly untouched. Maybe they didn’t see it in the back of my truck. That didn’t last after the higher mileage groups got back. Memorial day was the Happy Valley-McConnellsville ride   3 riders came on a cool day conducive to a long ride   2 did 102,  2880 ft climbing 1 did 50    missed out on the climbs on Hillsboro Rd   Didn't get enough precipitation to wet your lenses till 20 miles and ended 2 miles later.  Slight mist in places and ended about 11:30.  Blue sky towards end of ride.   Lots of cemeteries along the ride fitting for the day.   Only six hills according to my Garmin 540.   Loo ...Continue Reading
