Great weather means a great turnout. There were 80 riders: 20 – 11, 37 – 22, 62 – 22, 100 – 25. There were no reported mechanicals etc. However, there was a problem with the turn from Gorham onto Vinegar Hill. This was caused by two factors. One was the written cues. While downloaded directly from Ride-with-GPS they were wrong. Secondly, the heavy tractor traffic ran over the arrow. Tuesday night turned out to be a bit cooler than forecasted - my car thermometer displayed 59 degrees - but more importantly the wind prediction was accurate < 4mph from the South. Decent conditions if you like it cool. The visibility was very good as the sun has moved farther to the South and the skies were somewhat overcast. The final Wednesday ride of the season did not disappoint on many fronts. The weather was perfect, attendance was great (16 riders) and boy was it a quick pace.
