All, I’m the ride leader for Sunday’s ride. There are 30, 51 and 63 mile routes that start from Western Lights Plaza at 9:00 AM. Note that we will meet in the SW corner of the parking lot behind McDonalds (but not in their lot). As of now the weather looks dry and around 80 degrees. Seven riders rode a total of 187 miles participating in this morning’s 4th of July quarter century on a day that proved to be hotter than predicted. All expressed that they wouldn’t have gotten out today if there hadn’t been a 25-mile option and enjoyed the route and ride. Two were used to riding at a much faster pace than the rest of us but were good sports about sticking with the rest of us and enjoying a leisurely conversational ride on quiet country roads. Excellent conditions for the Tuesday night Time Trial.  The wind out of the SE dropped to less than 5mph.   Five TTers rolled to the start line for the Race of Truth.  Rob unwrapped his TT bike for the occasion. He crushed the course in time of 22:22 (26.83mph).  He was disappointed that he only took 36 seconds off of his RoadAero time.
