The Tri Club is having an Open House at the Winter Training Facility on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6pm to 9pm. It will be a good chance to check out what the WTF is all about. In case you don't know the WTF holds indoor cycling class and is free to Tri and OCC members. The plan for the parkway redevelopment, in a nutshell, is to make the parkway two lanes with a 45 mph speed limit. There will be an 11-foot wide low median on most of it and guard rail median under the bridge. There will be 9-foot shoulders all the way including under the bridge. There is no plan for any special accommodation for bikes. No lane, no path. I do believe the road will be safer for bikes with the 9-foot shoulders and lower speed limit.
