There is no law passed by legislature prohibiting group rides. If OCC doesn't want to organize rides anymore, so be it. All are good reasons not to ride in groups but I think the best is the one below. I’m a retired career firefighter / paramedic from the city of Oswego and was active on an ambulance for both the SARs and H1N1 pandemic. This virus seems worst than the two of them so be careful everyone. Wash your hands all the time and stay away from people as much as you can. See you at the time trial sometime. I wish I didn’t have to write this message. But I’ve heard reports from several people that they have seen groups of cyclist on the road. This is not ok.It’s not safe for the community. You can spread COVID when you don’t know you have it. You risk the lives of others including those on the front lines of this pandemic. It’s against the law. For those participating the in WNY-CNY e-racing series: The third race in our series starts at 6:30 PM tomorrow (Tuesday April 21st).
