Had a Tuesday without rain AYHOOOOO. 37 rides pedaled 805 miles. My ride was a new route and all the comments were positive. No reports of any issues except for my forgetting my shoes. The forecast has improved and as a result there is little chance of rain this afternoon and evening.I'll b timing on the Tag Rd course tonight. I'll driving from Camillus with my spare tire installed (yes, I got a flat on a tire w less than 1000 miles on it! Grrrr). So, I may not have a chance to sweep the course.To get to start: Park in the usual place. Ride towards Lakeporr Rd. Make a right and a quick left on to Tag Rd. OCCers (28 riders) enjoyed lots of miles (lots of smiles too) cycling in Oswego County and beyond…! We had a great time with sunshine each day. Everyone enjoyed the Tailwater Lodge in Altmar. AND raved about the accommodations, amenities, scenic rural setting, convenience to restaurants and off the bike activities. The buffet breakfast (included in the room rate) was over the top abundant, choices galore and yummy. Staff hospitality was excellent. While there was some indication that we might hit some rain, 24 of us left for what turned out to be a sunny ride. 826 miles were ridden despite some initial confusion about the routes. Some did make a wrong turn or two. But all got back Ok. Thanks to Tom who came up with some alternate routes to avoid the conditions of rt 176.
