What a nice day for a ride on a club favorite Cowles Settlement Ride (except for a few unexpected nature related items)   Good temps and low wind greeted 18 riders AQI was around 100 (thanks to Canada responding to tariffs)   and then there was Bardeen Road in Fabius there were barriers closing the road due to a large sink hole but there was the fallen willow trees (many trees) blocking fully the road after the hole.  We were able to walk into the field and climb back onto the road   there was the do ...Continue Reading

As predicted,  the conditions Tuesday evening were perfect for the Time Trial.   The temperature was in the mid 70s, winds were puffing at 0-3mph from the South.  Seven intrepid TTers rolled to the start line.  Tiago just missed nipping his time from last week by 2 seconds.  He roared around the course in a blazing time of 21:30(27.90 mph).   So, needless to say,  he took FMT honors.  Ken's son Kaleb decided to join in on the masochistic fun this week.  He stat ...Continue Reading

Seven riders gathered at a very crowded Lysander town park for the Wednesday night ride this week.Temps were hovering around 92F at the start, for the warmest night since August of 2024.  The consensus was for taking it easy and doing the 34 mile route, but as we rode, the temp dropped, we found shade and the pace definitely picked up.At the turn, several rides decided on a more bucolic and hillier return while the rest stuck with the official route…and were treated to some bone jarring fun with about 4 ½ mi ...Continue Reading

Howdy,Sunday-3 tough riders showed up for 48 miles apiece in 50 degree, light rain, and westerly 15 gust to 30 mph conditions.Tuesday-what a difference two days makes. 27 riders (including 2 guests) rode various distances during a warm, sunny, but hazy day.
