19 riders knocked off about 570 miles. Weather was great. I rode the rectangle north of 174 to pick up a few extra miles. Pleasant Valley Road sure hits the mark--really beautiful in there. Nineteen members and one guest came out last night in spite of the threatening skies and did 253 miles. It was split 50/50 between Mark’s route and my longer route. Since no one was back at the park when we came back, they avoided the rain. For those of us on the longer route, at about mile 10-11 it started to sprinkle and we headed back to the park. I am pulling the plug on the TT tonight. It is now raining again in Dewitt. There is rain on parts of the Tag Road course. There are some nasty red cells floating around and are due to drift over the course around 7pm. Even if it doesn't rain while riders are on the course, there is a good chance the roads will be wet from earlier rains. The forecast is not looking good for tonight. 80-85% chance of rain from 4-6pm. 60% hours before and after that.I'll monitor the situation for improvement and send out an email mid-afternoon.Hope you all got to watch the Tour's crazy final week.
