Hi to all our *SnEW* Riders, Tuesday’s *Slow ‘n Easy West Ride* will be upon us shortly. Come on out to Reed Webster Park in Camillus on Rt 173 (Warners Rd) and give the ride a try. We’ll be leaving at 6:00PM as usual so please don’t come rolling in at 5:59PM to go out with the groups. You need to be ready to roll at 6:00 PM. 3 riders started the Lake Como loop in rainy conditions. The ride leader had a massive rear wheel blowout due to tire failure and had to wait on his team car (I.e. his wife) to deliver him back to the start. I am the ride leader for tomorrow's club ride leaving from the Minoa elementary school at 9am. Please note the ride time has moved an hour earlier with the start of June. The ride is generally flat and has two official distances, 31 & 48 miles. I will bring only a few printed maps for those that need one. There is a small change to tomorrow's route. The bridge in Himansville is still closed for repair. I posted the change to routes on the Ride with GPS event page for that ride. The longer routes will turn right on to Lamson Rd to cross the Phoenix bridge then turn left on to State St then follow Oswego River Rd to rejoin the route on Rt 46. There is no appreciable difference in the distance. The Ride with GPS event has the modified routes and maps and cues that can be printed.
