Hey everyone, here are some OCC news tidbits:*Ride recap*: Our weeknight rides have come to an end due to the early sunsets.  When the weather was nice, we had great turnouts at our Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening rides. 7 riders showed for this north country ride up to Henderson Harbor, all doing an extended middle distance ride that turned out to be just over 50mi. We cruzed north to Henderson Harbor on a mild south breeze. Along the way, we ran into another OCC group in Ellisburg, known for their "IMAX" mirrored helmets who were also going to Henderson, and they joined our group for most of the way up. The rain forecast certainly impacted the turnout for our Charity ride.  However, those who came enjoyed sunny skies. The 100 mile riders enjoyed a tailwind, reaching Rudy’s with smiles on their faces.  This was likely, in part, due to the swarm of volunteers from Road2RecoveryCNY ( www.road2recoverycny.com ) who greeted them.  All good things come to an end as did the tailwind when they turned south to return to Carpenter’s Brook.  However, once in Phoenix they were greeted by another enthusiastic gr ...Continue Reading
