I have been waiting for the good weather to make a showing (dry, warm and sunny) but so far I have yet to see much that I could call summer. I hope it gets better soon. To top it all off, our power was out this morning…thanks National Grid! Things are looking up for Tuesday’s *Slow ‘n Easy West* ride. Accuweather is forecasting : “/Partly sunny ...Continue Reading

Well, Mother Nature finally blessed us with a pleasant evening with sunny skies. Considering the abundant amount of lousy weather we've been having, I'd be nit-picking if I complained about the blustery breeze from the WNW that buffeted the TTers last night.Four TTers toed the line to lay down their benchmark ride of the year. Alex Johnson effectively sliced through the wind with a time of 24:28 (24.53mph) to take FMT honors. Karen Busse had a strong outing with a 27:00 (22.22 mph) to take FWT.&n ...Continue Reading

I usually don't write a ride report but had to write something due to the weather. I have to think this was by far the best weather we've had so far for a Wednesday night ride this year. Warm and windless and of course NO RAIN!Had a very good turn out. We split up in at least three or four groups. The lead group was very fast and very fun (in good company with the Low tandem, need I say more). A good and fun group of riders. The other groups reported a wonderful time enjoying a warm and comfortable ride. Only one mechan ...Continue Reading
