I have have been stopped at least three times from riding the last 2 miles of the current trail because of a concert that was happening later that day. One of these times, the trail was closed at noon, blocked by a police car sitting on the trail a good 1/2 mile before the fence that surrounds the property. Members might want to know that the County Legislature is going to vote soon on siting the Bike Path around the Lake through the roosting area of the Bald Eagles on Murphy’s Island (across from Destiny).   I think many bikers would not like to see this happen.   The County is going back on its word to site the trail on the railroad tracks, not an area disturbing the Eagles.   Emergency meeting tonight at N.
