It was a windy and rain threatening morning at the 10 oclock start Heavy rain was on 81 on the way to Tully.   However 5 bikers showed up so we decided to make it a no drop ride. Changed the route so a 30 mile taker would ride with us. Then a 47 miler broke off. Then there were three till the end.   The three stopped a few times to enjoy the fast moving clouds and their   Shadows upon the bright green fields   With darkness on the changing leaves on the hills. (Apologies if you've already seen this) This article was in this months Adventure Cyclist Magazine. Young lady 24, rode a new record for annual mileage. 86,573 miles. Daily average 237 miles ! Tuesday, 5:30 at OLP will be the 3rd unscheduled CX, Road ride. There will be no sign in as it's not on the calendar but all are invited to join and try a little of gravel, road and dirt before the sun goes down and should be able to get about 10-12 miles in. So lights (that don't fall off) should be considered. Due to lack of day light WE WILL MEET OVER THE BRIDGE on the west side where the CX course is.
