I am ride leader for Wednesday June 7th ride from Marcellus Park. I drove the course (OCC map Mar-4) today to assess ride-ability. The ride is moderately hilly. The shorter 20 mile route has you traversing Rose Hill - up & down between NY 174 and US 20. NY 174 is a major part of this ride and the road surface conditions are not the best. Well, the rain came earlier than I was hoping.  One other rider showed up, and I think we all know who that is.  He said the way this season is going, if you want to ride outside, sometimes you have to ride in the rain.  So I'm giving the badass cyclist award today to Dale, who rode the 50-mile route solo.  As for your ride leader, I made it about a 1/2 mile before turning around because of the cold temps and dark clouds.  Maybe next time.  Or not.See ya,Colleen ...Continue Reading
