Hi Everyone, First and foremost, I’d like to thank all our riders who came out to ride with the Slow ‘n Easy West Ride this season.  The ride could not exist without you.  While the season did have its ups and downs weather-wise, we still did get a lot of riding in on those Tuesday nights.  Considering we only rode 16 out of 20 nights, we rode a total of 10,516 miles for the season. Today was the much anticipated Fair Haven Cookie Tour.  The weather was perfect!  Sunny, warm, little wind and great cookies (some were fresh out of the oven!).  It’s even beginning to look like fall in some areas.   Fifteen people came out to ride.  Ten went for cookies, five did the short ride and hopefully went for some reward when they got back.  No issues, problems or complaints that I’m aware of and we all got back safely.  I will post some pictures on our OCC Facebook page. ...Continue Reading

It’s the end of the week and tomorrow is the famous Fair Haven Cookie Tour.    There are two options – 41 and 53 miles.  The shorter ride doesn’t go to the Fly by Night Cookie Company, but after your ride, you can go down the road from our start location to get ice cream at Stewart’s or on down to B’ville for lunch.  It’s usually standard practice that everyone who does the long ride stops for cookies (or at least stops).  Looks to be a decent day so jumpstart your weekend – come out for a ...Continue Reading
