Expanding a bit on Gus's comment regarding volunteers for Race Weekend, first I'd give a big thank-you to everyone who has already signed-up to volunteer! Race Weekend doesn't happen without the support of the OCC membership. That being said, we're still very much in need of road marshals and pace/wheel car drivers, especially for the road race on Sunday. The venue for tomorrow night's TT will again be at the Lafayette location. As I mentioned in earlier emails, this course is identical to the one that will be used this coming weekend for the Syracuse Race Weekend. Even if you aren't racing this weekend, the course is a fun one to ride. While there is some climbing (3% grade the last mile), you are rewarded with a fast ride back to the finish line. Hi Everyone, The next *Slow ‘n Easy West* ride scheduled for this Tuesday, June 20th will leave from the west end parking lot of Reed Webster Park in Camillus, located on Warners Rd (Rt 173), promptly at 6:00 PM. Please arrive early so that you can sign in and be ready to depart on time. The forecast for Tuesday calls for “…Variable clouds with a brief shower or two…” with temperature in the mid 70s. 35 Members and 1 guest rode a total of 1,308 hot and muggy miles. The weather made the generally rolling ride seem a bit hillier than the rating led this ride leader to expect. It was a beautiful ride with only As being awarded (n=6). There were no incidents reported. Special thanks to Doug Bray for adjusting the map for the new start point.
