As I mentioned last week, the venue for the Time Trial this week will be on the Lafayette Time Trial course that is used for the Syracuse Race weekend. The layout of the course is simple.... starting from Rowland Rd. - ride up 11A for 5.1 miles, make a right on to Solvay Rd, half mile later, make a right on to Tully Farms road and fly the remaining 5 miles downhill!!! It was hot and windy, but that’s better than cold and wet. 23 members rode. No guests. 19 went to Rudy’s (58 miles). The rest did the 44 mile route.I think we all got through campus without getting lost. I only saw one fish sandwich being eaten. But I did see some ice cream. No incidents that I heard about. Thirteen of us met in Phoenix this morning to ride along the rural roads of Oswego County. Most did either 43 or 57 miles with a few in between at 53. It was a beautiful day to ride (unusual for a Friday) – perfect temperatures, lots of sun and that pesky WNW wind. Next Friday’s ride starts at Central Square and goes to Oswego.
